Anastasia Mazur-Skrobova (b. 1991, Astana, Kazakhstan) is a visual artist currently living and working in Italy.

Having lived in Russia, Estonia, Malta, Portugal, and, since 2026, Italy, her practice has developed across shifting cultural and geographical contexts.

Mazur-Skrobova’s work explores the unstable territory between reality, memory, and dreams. Drawing on déjà vu, oneiric imagery, and fragments of seemingly familiar situations, she constructs scenes in which the ordinary becomes subtly displaced. Figures, interiors, landscapes, and symbolic details appear as traces of events that may have been experienced, imagined, or remembered.

Her work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions and art projects in Russia, France, Estonia, Malta, and Portugal, including the 22nd Annual Exhibition of the Estonian Artists’ Association at Tallinn Art Hall (2022) and the l-Istrina Art Auction in Valletta, Malta (2021).

Her works are held in private collections in more than 20 countries.
